Vitabiotics Pregnacare Breastfeeding tablets and capsules are designed for new mothers to support their nutritional needs during the postnatal period and while breastfeeding. They contain vitamin B6, niacin, iron, and magnesium for normal energy release, and DHA for the normal development of brain and eye in breastfed infants. Additionally, these high purity capsules are free from artificial colours, salt, yeast, lactose, preservatives, and gluten. The omega-3 fish oil (docosahexaenoic acid concentrate) in each capsule is sourced from fish and surrounded by a pharmaceutical grade gelatin capsule shell, infused with natural lemon oil for a pleasant taste.
A healthy, varied diet is vital for new mothers, to help produce nutritious breast milk and maintain their own health and wellbeing during the postnatal period. Maternal breast-feeding is strongly recommended for the newborn baby as it provides essential nutrients and antibodies for long term health.
