Have been using this product, which is extremely good value, both in terms of price and quality, for over two years and when I stop taking it I definitely notice the difference. I feel less tired and I sleep much better. I'm aware that food supplements are controversial but I also understand that most of us are short of magnesium in our diets.

Large size pills, but I feel they are actually working.

I've suffered with ibs for about 5 years now and the biggest issue that I have is that I will go days and days (up to 14 at times!!) without a single bowel movement. I would try fibre and it just wouldn't happen. Then I will usually wake out of my sleep with stomach cramps worse than labour pains and have to suffer ibs diarrhoea which is horrendous beyond worse. The first time I had an attack i passed out from the pain and this in turn triggered a severe acute asthma attack, so I have to be extremely careful when it happens, usually results in me calling an ambulance in order to have a nebuliser. I've decided to go away for a while but unfortunately the health care isn't amazing where I'm going, so to go with such a huge issue is a massive risk, so I had to look at my options. I would have labelled myself as having ibs diarrhoea but a friend pointed out to me that it's ibs constipation mainly and once I can solve that then in turn i solve the diarrhoea blowouts. After looking online and seeing numerous different suggestions I came across magnesium. Then I remembered; the first asthma attack that was triggered when I had my diarrhoea blow out, I was prescribed something in the hospital, and I had to suddenly jump to my feet and beg for a commode. When I asked why do I need to go to the toilet so suddenly I was told it was the 'magnesium' I was just given. Apparently this is usual to give to asthma patients. I decided to order this as I knew my body had had some reaction to it previously. The pills themselves are very large, and personally for me they take ages to take affect. If I take two at night, the following night I can have a very healthy bowel movement! No cramps, no pain, no build up. Same time every night I feel the need to go without urgency, and when I do i don't have that feeling that wasn't enough. The first few times though did cause me some bubbling gas and lots of wind but that side affect seems to have died down now a bit. Finding this has changed my life in many different areas and I would recommend people tell people how something so simple can change their lives. Ibs is an awful condition and can limit you in so many ways. I no longer feel scared when I'm outside, or nervous that I'm not going to get back home in time. I just feel normal now. I have ordered another batch so I have a good supply when going away. So pleased.
